(Nasdaq: RSYS) announced availability of Microware OS-9 version 4.3 for the Intel® XScale™ micro architecture. Microware OS-9 for XScale is a complete software solution designed for OEMs who are developing embedded and real-time applications for XScale-based hardware. RadiSys' Microware OS-9 for XScale is ideal for use in a variety of embedded applications including industrial control and factory automation, interactive point of sale kiosks and test and measurement, among others.Pressured to develop better products faster, OEMs are continually on the lookout for tools and technologies that can help reduce development costs and shorten time to market.
